The First Annual Conference on Business and Human Rights of the NOVA Centre on Business, Human Rights and the Environment, organised in partnership with PLMJ and the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (CCIP). The conference took place online on the 24th and 25th of November 2021. Topics included Business and Children’s rights, Corporate Due Diligence and the Digital Transformation, Corporate Due Diligence and Migrant Workers, Corporate Due Diligence and Capital Markets and Business and Human Rights Developments in Portugal.
It was a pleasure chairing the webinar “Business and Children Rights, with guest speakers, Maria Pia Bianchetti, John Morrison and Tulika Bansal for a conversation on Child Rights & Business, with keynote speeches from European Commissioners for Justice Didier Reynders and ILO’s Director of the Governance and Tripartism Department Vera Paquete Perdigão.
