The Report “Our Europe, Our Rights, Our Future” was launched on 23 February 2021. Five organizations including Eurochild, UNICEF, World Vision, Save the Children, and Child Fund Alliance were invited to support the European’s Commission’s work on the upcoming EU Strategy on Children’s Rights and the Child Guarantee and worked together to develop a questionnaire to consult children. The questionnaire was answered by approximately 10,000 children in the EU and beyond, of which the results have been included in the report “Our Europe, Our Rights, Our Future”.
The event was child led and aimed to provide engagement and discussion between children, high-level EU leaders, and the leaders of the organisations of the consultation consortium. A children’s advisory board, which has been engaged in the development of the questionnaire and the report presented the results of the report and asked questions to the different speakers.
